Easy way that could stop Green Dragon Autoers

Featured Replies

Ok so you know how macros work by clicking on a certain colour?

My idea would be to change the texture of the Green Dragons to that of Green Dragonhide Armour.

That way, you could wear green d hide, then once the autoer gets a skull and attacks you, you bring out your best armour. This would set back Green Dragon Autoers, which are a huge part of the gold farming industry.

Plus, when the autoer dies, you could get the whip theat they were using =P

I don't think you really understand how it works.

Three main types:

1) Bots: a edited version of the rs client

They work by Item & MonsterID's, not with colours. It wouldn't affect bots.

2) Colour Based programs: a 3th party program

They do not only work with colours but also with the text on the upper left corner off the screen ("attack green dragon" for example) + I think those colours are already the same :uhh:

It wouldn't affect them.

3) Gold farmers: real people working in sweatshops, mostly in Asia, that play rs for a living. Wouldn't affect them.

I really suggest learning more about the cheating community before posting things like this.

Also and more imporantly... if you post a suggestion in public view about how to stop autoers it becomes very hard for Jagex to use them, the people who make autoers are know to watch forums for areas in which their methods need improving, having posted it in public view the autoers can be one step ahead of Jagex.

If you wish to make a suggestion to Jagex on how to stop autoers they ask that you send it in a query via the "comment on our service" link on http://www.runescape.com

Remember.... it it's in public view they cant use it (as well)

You seem to know a lot about these sophisticated rascals... Still, you deserve a pat on the back.

They would learn how to right-click to look for the option "Attack Green Dragon"

They already have. Same as iron miner know if there's "Mine Iron" or "Pickup Iron Ore"

Maybe you can slow them down, for example lets say they must complete dragon slayer or something. That will definetly slow them down because they need to spend about 1,5 day just to complete all the quests every single account and that while 98% of the normal players has allready done it.
