On Killerwatts at the moment, and they kill you quick. Got distracted by a phone call and *bang* there goes a ring of life. Seem to have to eat constantly but it pays off. Fire orbs, mystic fire staff, and an air battlestaff from fewer than thirty kills. More gold mining (almost 600 banked now). Had to do some standing in banks selling things to pay for MTK. Sold some coal and flax, and got a rune plate and full splitbark as well as 20 days worth of cash. I'm going to try and creep my Hunting higher over the next month as I've been ignoring it and I'd like to hunt higher level implings. Meanwhile, I'm trying to keep going with the gold mining (800/1000 ores now banked), so as soon as I've got them I can start on my next smithing level. Have the tree seeds for another farming level waiting for me when I get the chance as well. Hoping that one of the quests for later this month will have nice Farming features. teatonev Posted October 2, 2007 Author Share Posted October 2, 2007 64 Hunting gained without too much trouble this morning - not sure whether I'm going to hit the wall once the xp requirements increase but its going OK at the moment (faster than mining!) Talking of mining, managed to finish my gold ore collection so I'm going all out for 68 Smithing - got 400/100 gold bars smelted. I'm crafting bracelets at the same time so may get 63 Crafting first. Also (on Draco Draco's advice) ground my dragon and dagganoth bones and collected enough slime to ecto them so hopefully have a few quick prayer levels banked now. All the grinding has spurred me on to carry on constructing (as my next project but one), so may have to go back to runecrafting to fund it! Should get 68 Smithing tomorrow and can decorate my Skill Hall with lovely mithril armour. (May need matching CW set but that's a different story). In the meantime started Monkey Madness. Been a little nervous but gone OK so far. About to head into Marim dungeon for first time, so may feel different after that! Should have a D scimi waoting for me when I hit Attack 60 anyway. Has taken a bit longer than I envisoned. Put a lovely full mith display straight up in my skill hall! Halfway through Monkey Madness - might get a chance to finish it tomorrow morning. Found Demon easy with Protect from Magic Prayer on. Didn't use any p pots and just ranged from bridge. No damage taken - job done in a little over two minutes. And a clue scroll drop (addy legs, hatchet, yew comp, purple sweets and laws -.- ) Ogres next slayer assignment, good for strawberries today, still slow on watermelons and herb seeds I want (ranarrs and irits). Next assignment to ice giants - took a while to get the hang of distracting the ice warriors from my safe spot but got it worked out now. Drops a bit rubbish so far.... Been hunting greys but about to start trying reds - will let you know how that plan goes. Feldip hunter area certainly very crowded compared to Piscatoris. Otherwise have done a couple of herb rounds, and my next Farming level is now just a Lumby tele and a check-health away. Will then be able to plant palms with a garden pie so that should be another levelling boost. Slayer has hit a slow patch again. Might take 48 hours for next farming level... In the meantime will try and keep things ticking over with either firemaking or prayer if I absolutely run out of time. Have now run out of stored Papayas so will only be able to plant one palm a day (should still get another farming level at some stage next week). Hunting is still going well, but I'm starting to think I should get mining again for another smithing level. Gave Castle Wars a go for the first time today. Enjoyed it at first, but novelty waned fairly quickly. Would still like the armour for the quest hall though. Have been killing more green dragons in wildy too. Still very busy at work and home (no baby yet though!) so I've been concentrating on easier levels. Powering through farming with a palm tree a day at the moment. Starting to chop some mahogany for my next run of Construction. Draco tells me I need another slayer level so need to smith some cbs... I don't pay eough attention whilst fishing, so end up getting logged like crazy, but I hope three more levels won't be too hard and then I can upgrade my Karamja gloves (and have plenty of fish for cooking levels). The next level to 69 is going to be a while off unless MTK is very generous to me at the end of this week. This morning I got my Fishing up to my target of 63 (one more level than I needed as it turned out but at least I stayed motivated). Now have the chance to get my medium Karamja gloves for enhanced Agility Arena xp. Have got a few tasks left so that should keep me occupied for today. Tomorrow I'll start cooking those fish (quick exp) and then working on Mining gold and iron ore (for next Smithing level) and Woodcutting mahogany (for Construction exp). According to the tip it calculator I should have enough fish banked for at least six more levels, and its fast painless exp. Hopefully that means I should be able to carry on getting a level a day for this week whilst chopping mahogany and gold mining (BTB mahogany is fast woodcutting exp).
