Bloodvelds good slayer assignment?

I just got a task to kill 118 bloodvelds should i skip out on it? I'm going to melee but I don't have bones to peaches.

You'll be fine. Wear black dragon hide, have some monks and you should be able to do it in 1 or 2 trips. When I was a good deal weaker than I am now (and I'm still weaker than you) I could take out 30+ per trip with about 20 monks.

dont change the task. you can even melee and use guthans to heal like some people i've seen there. (though i usually just use the hide and monkfish method of slaying them)

It's a good assignment. Melee in dragonhides or range (there are safe spots). Melee is faster especially if you pot up.

Bloodvelds are maybe the best assignment for range training. Don't skip it, range it! Don't bother training melee slaying, it's a waste unless you absolutely have to do it.

Um... do you know what a Black Mask is? +15% attack and strength. Basically, training while always having a super set.

you can use those safespots for halberds, too, if you have one.

Bloodveld are one of my favorite tasks.

 

 

 

Low def. Huge hp. Don't hit too hard. Range or meleeable depending on what you want to do. Can finish task on a load of sharks. Drop a healthy amount of bloods. Don't ever skip bloodveld they're amazing for combat xp.

 

 

 

The only downsides are no cannon and they're usually pretty full of people.
