taxi-cart!

Featured Replies

heres what it is:

a cart with a hrose and rider in every city with a bank

what you do is pay a certain amount to go to another city [depending on the city from yours]

like this:

this is just an example

fallador > vaarrok 100gp?

but fallador > lumbridge 250gp

get it?

this can save runes and/or time

but it always has downsides

this does take the point out of teleing from larger citys

which will make laws worth less...

but then more laws for telegrabbig etc... :-k

UPDATE::::::

prices

ill make a list but only for f2p [im not familiar with ALL of the towns and all that cause im f2p]

oh and btw no islands cause horses cant swim

LUMBRIDGE

to al kharid [no]

to varrok [500gp]

to draynor [250gp / no]

to falador [1k]

to edgeville [1k]

now these prices are also flipped so varrok to lumby is still 500 k?

AL KHARID

add about 25 to lumby prices

VARROK

draynor [500gp]

falador [500gp]

edgeville [250gp]

DRAYNOR

falador [500gp]

edgeville [250gp]

FALADOR

edgeville [250gp]

also a wild one goes to a spot in lvl 20-30

it always costs 3k and theres no rerturn trip

UPDATE::::

random and the portal cart

PORTAL CART: a place that u can go to and u go anywhere for free

but u need at least 50 combat and 60 in 1 skill

and u haev to use the cart at least 100 times

and after 1 use 25 mroe cart rides to use again and again etc etc

im going to update the first post

also a random event:::

along the way the cart brakes down and you have to fix it

reward: your money back and a cut gem

[extra mem reward] 1000 construction xp and some planks and nails

hwo to fix it:

u have to figure out how each part fits together and put it together

post your comments! :D

just teleport imo

pros with cart

-cheaper than teleport

-no mage lvl required

cons

-cant teleport there from whenever you want (still have to find and talk to)

teleport pro's

-mage exp.

-can be done whenever you want, when you want

How about you have to watch the horse ride there. It'd be quite slower than teleporting, but faster than walking/running.

ahh thats greta but...

the horse would run through it all i mean that makes such a lag...

theres like 200 horses lagging all the magor paths?

it makes an animation maybe like karmija ship

also!

this is f2p too btw

i think that is the price to travel to a city was 500-1500 than it would be good and the price of laws would not go down :)

I think this is a pretty good idea. It would be nice if say you didn't have any laws on you or your mage wasn't high enough. Maybe you should have some in places in between towns or in places where it would be easy to get lost that could maybe cost more, but you could go to a major town for free every so often(like home teleport). Also maybe have a way to get money out of your bank at the cart place so that you can pay for it when you get lost. Oh yeah and I don't think you should have a wild one thats just a good way for people to scam. And if there is make sure theres some kind of warning that your have to click on to continue.

This would be very useful especially if you're on ancients or lunar magic...its really hard to get to certain areas.

Check me out on YouTube!

Jagex have already said that the grounds on Runescape is unsuitable for horses, so you'd have to change that.

Also, the only reason I bothered to train up my mage is because of the tele's. If I didn't need them, it would be my lowest skill. As Jagex wants us to train up our skills, this would either have to be members (as if they need yet another way of getting around) or not exist.

give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever
