But, I almost see no members with Bronze - Rune weapons, so it would be pretty useless in P2P... You make a pretty good point, but there are a lot of them that use bronze-rune bolts and arrows, and it could maybe work with dragon items, but definitely not special weapons like barrows.

Very well thought out idea with pictures and everything, the only problem would probably be peoples willingness to do all of that for a 10-25% bonus, if I were you I would either simplify the process or make silky oil tradeable. Also, I don't know if this would be recieved well as a F2P option, maybe if it was something that could only be used in clan wars for F2P or something like that, so we get a taste of it, but not the whole thing.

Sounds like a good idea to me, firemaking may be an almost useless skill, but if you're trying to level it, a place like this would be helpful and I don't see any harm in it, but maybe make the requirements to get in a little more stiff. I support.

I would support different types of weather, as long as it was just a little detail, not a huge thing that would slow the game down, but I don't think too many people would go for the tornadoes, me included, its just another random event to get in your way. Also, with the hotel idea, maybe it heals some health, refills yours stats or something like that.

I agree with you 100%, Bounty Hunter is actually pretty fun until you get piled by a clan of like 10 people, then its just obnoxious. It would be a great idea to have parts of it be single combat only.

So I'm playing the Bounty Hunter game, and I kill a guy, but right after that some guy starts attacking me. I could have just left but I had no food and was using the protect item prayer. So I die, and am completely blindsided when my rune scimitar is missing. So I consult the knowledge base, much more thoroughly then I did before, and I find out that like the paragraph after it tells you the counter has no affect on you if you don't take their items, it says, both counters will cause your protect item prayer to be ineffective. My suggestion: Put a big X or something that at least tells you the prayer won't work instead of just letting you use it and assume it will protect your item. Would that be so hard?

Like it or not, scammers and rulebreakers are too common of a site in Runescape, and whats the way to deal with these rulebreakers, the report abuse button. So I thought, how about a post where people discuss: 1. What to you qualifies as abuse or scamming? 2. How often do you report abuse? 3. Where would you draw the line for who you would report? 4. Do you warn rulebreakers, if so for what rules? 5. Where do you must often see rulebreaking? 6. Any tips for reporting, or in your opion the best way to report. 7. Or any other topic like these. to help people learn about reporting, and the proper way to do it. So post away and I apologize if I am blatently ripping off another post.

You honestly believe that? If you can name a player mod who is low lvled I will go kill myself. And don't say there aren't low lvled dedicated players. I've seen a level 11 but he was a skiller, other than that I know a mod who was level 57 the first time I saw him with his crown, and I saw like a level I want to say 54 mod one time in Lumbridge.

Thats just going to slow down Jagex as they have said multiple times, all incidences of abuse should be reported only once, any more and your just slowing them down.

Just to clarify, would this be something to the effect of everybody splits up and make sure every macro gets reported, or everybody goes to one spot and reports the same macro 25 times?

I've always thought that it wouldn't matter if you reported someone for breaking two rules at once because they would both be included in the snapshot for Jagex to see, and that sending in more than one report for abuse just slows down the system. Although, that is just my intrepretation of what I have read in the knowledge base and I'm not 100% sure that its correct. P.S. D V Devnull, I've always thought that only Player Moderators could join "Ad Busters", is that true?

There were some new editors this week who were just getting the hang of things, I'm almost certain that they will continue to improve.

I have passwords i used in rsc and i know liek everything about my acct...but dont know wat to put cuz anyone could find it out by cheking my levels on hiscores or something Not sure, but if you search account recovery in the knowledge base, it should tell you everything you need to know about recovering accounts

Thats exactly what I was saying, that level 123s with skill capes on probably shouldn't be obligated to talk but if you're a level 5, with a crazy name, chopping yews, you shouldn't be mad when people suspect you of botting or macroing. But really I don't understand what you have against talking, just saying 1 or 2 lines then stop talking, I don't think thats too outrageous.

In the knowledge base Jagex always stresses using the earlies information you have available. Actually the knowledge base is full of information about recovering accounts, you should check it out.

They reported you for no reason :-s I would think the fact that they asked you multiple times if your an autoer and you didn't respond is reason enough, but you no what, I will just no longer report macros because they could just be people like you who decided I won't respond to them asking me questions because its so hard to type four words. Also, I have no problem with skillers or turning public chat off, but if your a level 3 with a crazy name of random numbers and letters, whos doing and often macroed skill, you're going to have to respond to some questions and thats just how its going to be, the entire Runescape world shouldn't have to change just because you don't want to press down some keys. And really if all you guys think its too bothersome to type out a sentence or two, what are you doing on a forum? P.S. I don't just report people based on if they respond or not to public chat, I have my own system which is close to fool proof, I'm just so upset because I think that all the people who think they shouldn't have to respond to questions even if they're asking you if your a macro are just being unreasonable. Also Jagex can't educate people about macros, or the best way to report them because then macros will easily be able to avoid it.

I saw a previous thread in this forum about a clan thats full of player moderators who will mute people who advertise websites, but I don't know if they would have time to answer your questions. P.S. What are your questions and are you sure that a player mod could help answer them.

Well, before we jump to any conclusions about this guy abusing the system I have a few question for Paaaaarker. Whats your skillers name, were you ignoring everybody, did he ask you questions that you just ignored, and were you really paying attention to your file? Not that I believe you weren't, its just I've reported people with names that are steriotypical of a macro, who I questioned for about a minute, and made sure they could hear me, and then about two minutes after I report them they ask me, "Why would you report me?" Then when I explain it to them they just say, "You never talked to me noob, reported." And I've never got a black mark, so if you did something like this(which I'm not saying you did) then nothing should happen to the guy that reported you. My skilers name is Blaring mute, i made him 4 days ago, so his stats arent high, but theyre around 40. I was walking to the varry mining site, and he just said reported, didnt even talk to me, i was just walking by to mine. And i asked him why, and he said i was an autoer, and i was talking to him after he reported me for just walking to mine. And he still accused me of being an autoer! Then you shouldn't have anything to worry about. And he probably has a pretty high chance of getting a black mark when his report is reviewed.

Yeah, I completely agree, I mean would Jagex really release an update as bad as they're making it out to be. I seriously doubt it. And even if it is horrible, at least wait until you know it is before you complain about it. At this rate even if the Grand Exchange is amazing, people will already have such a low opion of it due to all the speculation that they will only focus on the negatives.
