I don't think the graphics are any better than the PS2. (Yes I played it.) I can't rate the XBox 360. Never played one. Again, to me, I think the Wii is the best. It's motion detected! I just prefer the Wii because of Brawl, Red Steel and Zelda... and I have never been a fan of the 360 controller :P The PS3 didn't wow me much really. Either developers aren't taking into consideration (outside of Lair) or it's just a POS but I don't like it for motion sensing. I'm not a fan of motion sensing anyway so I don't use it when playing the PS3. The 360 is a brick waiting to happen. Take away there hardware issues and it's the best console right now IMO. Huge library of games, great graphics, solid online. PS3...not sure what game you played but the graphics blow PS2 out of the water. Tell me that looks like a PS2 game. :P The next few months will be big for PS3. Lots of games coming out but right now MS has the upper hand. Nothing against the Wii but it's just not next-gen IMO. It takes more than motion sensing to be next-gen to me...that's my opinion. If you like the Wii, more power to you...enjoy it. They are current generation because they are currently in the market. Previous generation consoles include the Gamecube, Xbox and Dreamcast. Any information regarding the next generation consoles to my knowledge have not even been announced, leaked or even rumoured at the moment, and are probably still in the early planning stages of development. I compared Xbox 360 graphics next to PS3 graphics. 2 of the same screen next to each other, Xbox 360's was far clearer and smoother. Click my signature for my blog! Tell me that looks like a PS2 game. :PI never said it looked like playing a PS2 again - you're too graphics orientated :uhh: It feels like playing a PS2 because nothing has changed except for some increased graphics. And once I got over the 'this looks good' and got involved in the game the graphics were at the bottom of the list of things I cared about while playing. Anywho, I agree that Xbox 360 does it for me, but games like Resident Evil 4 really shows what is so fun about the Wii. I currently own an Xbox 360, Wii, and a PS3 and if I had to make a recomendation about what to buy right now, I would say Xbox 360. Also addressing the Nex-Gen, and Current-Gen argument. I'm not acually sure why, but the Xbox 360, Wii, and PS3 all are considered nex-gen gaming plateforms. The current generation ones would be Xb And to whoever said that PS3 graphics are compaired to PS2...? PS3 graphics look almost exactly the same as Xbox 360 (granted 360 has better games to use the potential, aka GoW), and both of these consoles definitely have superior graphics. You just need to look at what software utilizes the hardware, meaning that some games just have better graphics than others.
