This is just a little idea with no pictures at the moment, but...

 

 

 

Members only; You stand at your house, and go to your maid (Or whatever) pick the option "Send mail" to - "Zezima" item in inventory...

 

This is the tricky bit. Every item is dearer to send by Weight, and price.

 

E.g. Rune platebody, medium expensive, quite heavy. 300gp.

 

 

 

I'll get onto pics if people like my idea. :anxious:

 

 

 

P.s. It may be easier to just trade them, but it gets sent to their house, even if they're not on, and if you're on their friend list! If you're not, their private chat has to be "On" to send it to them.

Perfect. You could do this with a bank too right? It would really help someone who let' s say "selling full zammy" on a forum and the other just sends the cash, in retourn he get' s the zammy.

There are some flaws to this.

 

You could send someone else a million items.

 

I wouldn't want to log on with buckets, leather boots and soda ash in my bank. :wall:

 

(Trust me, I would pay 300 gp each item to annoy someone :boohoo:)

I think that if you made it so it has to be an agreed upon trade by using some long distance trade option, and made it so that when you send it it will go to some place where it can not be accessed by the other player until they pay for it, and after so long if it hasn't been payed for it returns to you. Otherwise if you both have to be on at the same time, it would be pretty much the same as normal trading. But overall good idea and with a little improvement it could be a great idea. :thumbsup:

People would use it to trade between accounts. Unless you both have to be online but then the normal trade system should be sufficient.

+1. I think this is actually the only flaw. If someone thinks up of a soloution, this could be good.

Thanks for suggesting this, it would make the lives of my friends even easier. Instead of having to go through all the work of drop trading the phat loot from their flax bots, clearing their UID, switching to their mules, repeating, until finally drop trading / staking / dying in wildy / dual logging the stuff to their main! Instead of all that, they could just send it to their main for a small and affordable fee!

Actually, that was kind of what I was thinking :-k ... except more like...

 

"Send me 50K gp and I will send you a Rune PlateBody!"

 

The problem is, the person receiving the gp could just up and run off with it instead of having to turn over the Rune PlateBody. See my point? Too many awful scammer opportunities.

Agreed. Really makes an idea like this stink as to how exploitable it would be for something like that.

Alright, so... any ideas how this idea can be fixed? Or is it 100% decimated like I thought it was? At the moment, I see too much downside, too little upside. Implementing this is therefore not worth it.
