Best Defense in the game?

I am a noob. Nuff said. Honestly, when I began playing I was searching for threads that had some tips for stuff like training spots and equipment to wear but I couldn't find one. One day I came across N0valyfe's site and it had some cool info and a blog he started a couple months after he started playing rs. Anyways, as I increase my levels and combat and knowledge of the game, I plan on just compiling a guide of tips and tricks I've learned. So this is were I call on the Tip.it community to help me. I don't have the funds and I'm not a member so for all you rich members maybe you can help me out. I want to know all the outfits with the best defense or attack bonuses. For instance, the best outfit for fight caves without sacrificing the range attack bonus. Maybe the best melee bonus with the best magic bonus. I would like you to provide a picture and tell us what it's useful for in your opinion. Thanks. Keep it bumped

Maybe that's good for melee bonuses but what if someone wanted to sacrifice defense bonuses for strength bonuses. And I believe Verac or a combination of Verac and Dharok have the same bonus as Torag with an added prayer bonus.

So dragon fire shield is the best shield. What are the best boots/cape or helmet or torso. What benefits do they have? Strength amulet is better than fury in situations were you want strength bonuses and gnome is better than fury when you want a defense bonus. I keep seeing Torag! Torag! Torag! Maybe that's good in defensive situations but would you really want Torag in the fight caves?

T helm, v skirt, rune boots, fire cape,dragonfire shield, fighter torso, fury,barrows gloves and berserker ring is my favorite set up, although i dont have a firecape yet you get a decent prayer/str/def bonus.
