Item PIN

Featured Replies

.

Hmm, I kinda like the idea.... But that may be just the fact that there's nothing in my measly bank that would warrant a PIN for one item. Most expensive item (or group of items in 1 slot, for that matter) is d axe at 2.9m.

I support.

perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is another

AMEN!

This is really a good idea. Its kind of a twist on the old stop hackers with a pin idea. It makes sense because the only way a keylogger can find out what the pin is is if you withdraw it. And you don't have to withdraw it all the time and would be able to change the pin every time you did without it becoming much of a hassle (of course that is if you only put it on something like a santa or party hat, and not a tinderbox or your weapon).

I support.

makes more sense for the pin to be like the current bank pins since a key

logger will be unable to detect it

otherwise i support

EDIT:

im also wondering why people refer to santa hats when they consider rich...its only 20m compared the 300m+ blue phat (dont know price)

should santa become a bit higher o.O, no wait let me get one first

Actually there are keyloggers, well I guess not so much keyloggers as trojans that can record your bank pin. And really I think the point of this is the only way a keylogger can get your information is if you type it in, and stuff like your password and bank pin you have to type in every time you play, but you don't have to withdraw your christmas cracker every time you play.

Oh yeah and as long as I'm posting I just thought you should know for future reference that you're not supposed to bump a thread while its still on the first page unless its in the market place.

wizzkid only pin for items in your bank not outside the bank and there are simply no banks in wildernis of near aggressive monsters so your statement is totally destroyed

How does 20 minutes turn into 2.5 hours? Was your math perhaps magical math?

Ever heard of a random event?

I don't like this idea, because you even stated keyloggers can get your bank pin, if they can get that, they can get this.

The type of keyloggers that can get your bank pin, screen-shot every time you click, so this would work to it's full effectiveness.

Hello, imagine how much resources on server taked pin for every item, i done some calculations about other suggestion but is up to this one too, read this my post: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?p=5160069#5160069

Suggestion: You can use Anchor on Waterfiends - is cheap if to compare to GS & effective with crush attack & it hit like Whip.
