Recently i have made a range pure his stats are as follows:

 

 

 

42 Combat.

 

30 Attack

 

34 Strength

 

1 Defence

 

60 Range

 

1 Prayer

 

42 magic

 

50 Health

 

 

 

Basically what i was wondering is should i get my Defence to 10? It would only raise me 2 combat levels I checked on the Combat Calc.

 

 

 

or should I just leave it 1?

Wrong forum but defense owns. Why bother make a pure? You waste time, energy, and money on some other character when you could be making your main character better. In any defense related question, always train it. :D

 

 

 

I have 77 defense and 70 att/str. I'm gonna get 85 defense before I train att and str again too. :D

you see lots of 1 defense pures scurrying about runescape, but theyre not invincible. if you really want to own, get 30 def, do dragon slayer, and become a range tank with 40 defense.

If you're a pure, why are you even contemplating defence? I mean, 10 defence too, what can you do extra? Wear black (g) and show off? It's just not worth it, the 10 levels you should rather be spent on hitpoints.

Dont get 10, stay 1 def or get 40+.

defence is better than puring.

 

i have nobbish 30 def :-w and i own pures.(i only have 36hp too!! \ )

Either keep 1 defence and be a pure, or get 40-60 defence and be a tank. Don't get any prayer either way.

Read the Graveyard section of these forums. People post pictures of their kills there, so find a thread where someone has posted a lot of kills and then look at their stats.

If f2p stay 1 def. if p2p get tank.
