ice_darkstar
Hi guys, I often see someone who's selling, repeating their goods/terms a lot faster than it seems possible to type. is there a trick to this, or are they just exceptional typists? Thanks for any relevant responses.
merchant444
it is an auto type ...software....i think its against rules but not sure so i dont try it
nerdattack16
Yup, they're using autotypers. They're against the rules, since it's technically macroing. Sig credit goes to ThruItAll. :D
kemikalkadet
yep, against the rules. it's classed as macroing and is a bannable offence. p-mods can mute you in-game for using them too.
Wubstrublm
i always report those people :P
Rainy_Day
Ah, the autotypers. If anyone offers you a download of something like this, don't download it at all. Chances are it will harm your computer, and using one ingame is against the rules anyway. Just report them for Offensive Language (Spam). (I was told you report for Spam instead of Macroing :P ). mchainmail
it depends on the message. If it's like "red:selling easter 8 mill" i can easily type that so the message is always up there. But if it's "wave2:red:buying all chaos/death/law/nat/air/fire 150/300/300/300/15/15" then they are most likely autotyping. It's all about the length. J35u5_M4
Yes, it depends on the length of the message if it is too long and the person who is typing is doing it too fast is using a program called Flood (at least we call it like that here in Venezuela) its a program that you write a sentence and then when you press a button (example F5) it will automatically write the sentence so what they do is only press 1 button and enter, This program is against the rules (I think ) because it's not fair to other players that get tired of typing lol. geesch
yeah, unfortunately it is against the rules, dangerous to your computers security and your account security because typing something over and over again gets annoying fast. i know some games have that as a standard part of their game. i wish rs would do that... then again, that might make it impossible to see anything. dynastyfan0
100% against the rules, and is rather annoying  2181st to 99 Runecrafting on 7/28/2009
J35u5_M4
So in conclusion, do not use this program while playing runescape, this program has a bit of fault why world 2 is so lag, so many msgs repeating all the time lags you :S
Randox
ALWAYS report a suspected auto typer as spam (offensive language) and NEVER for macroing. The best reason for this is there are quite a few people who really can type exceptionaly fast (though they nromally produce a typo every once in a while). If you report one for macroing and it turns out hes just a fast typer, he might get off without any black marks but you could end up with a couple for misuse of report abise button. Now, since typing really fast is considered spam, this is a better option, it not only covers the macro programs, but gets fast human typers who flood chat with there advertising. This also helps prevent you from gettign any marks for mis reporting.
