Definatly not fake. The quest you had to do to access it was so awesome. Lots of cutscenes. People with fluffy pink avatars are generally expected to be nice. You're still using the death dagger? That thing stinks. I usually use the Scimitar of Domination. You use it on the player once, and it skulls them, then kills them in one hit.
