WonkaHead
i guess so. But alot of that on the mystic guys and the void knights is shading, altogether i think the Dragon guy had the least shading. :boohoo:
Abelmisi
Save it as PNG's, that's gonna improve the quality a lot.
samurai_lassie
You spent time adding in a large amount of of shading except there is no evidence of what direction of where the light is actually coming from. you have not built the structure before detailing , some things i can notice which are wrong -Shadow cast over the magicians face -Posision of feet not inline with robe bottom -Very short arms and the fingers are a bit... 563rd to 99 mining on 15/08/0799 Farming
ThruItAll
All of them are pillow shaded, if shaded at all, because you don't have a light source. -No fingers. -Feet look very ...bendy. danke Schon Sam!^^"Blood runs thicker, oh were thick as thieves you know"-Carl Barât

sylvawarrior
what do you mean it won't let you save as PNG in paint?! You can save as PNG in MS paint. theres a drop down menu where you can save as PNG. Here's a screenshot of me saving as PNG in MS paint. If its not there I don't know what else to do... :wall: <img src="http://killm3.x10.mx/rotate.php" alt="Header" width="400" height="100" />
yaff2
okay, i am going to be brutally honest, dont let this stop you from soing art, but you have no artistic talent - you dont show a light source - the drawings themselves are not good - the "shading" you do, it way to choppy and not smooth - your detail, well, isnt really there - and all of them look like you did them in a hurry - your work is sloppy Im sorry, it had to be said, DONT let this stop you from doing art, you just have to improve okay? just work at it and you will get better, look at examples and do your best, and put more time into thjem 1980 Berlinetta with a 350, bored, mild cam, intake carb, headers, exhaust

Yaff, swearing, quite honestly, doesn't get you anywhere and that's really not much of an excuse to flame someone. :? Onto the crits: - Bigger is not always better. Downsize your canvases and crop unnecessary white space. - As someone said above, don't save pixels as .jpgs, and you can save them as .pngs in paint. - Read up on human anatomy over the internet. We've got tons of resources there. Use them. The best thing you can do for yourself right now, in this stage of your art, is to read tutorials. Read, read, read, try stuff, read again, try more stuff, and so on and so forth. Best of luck. Pixel Artist - Former Player Mod - Former Tip.It ModNot taking sig requests - sorry! Adventurer
I think the censored cussing might've been playful sarcasm. To artist: You might want to do several things to improve. 1. Learn basic art technique and theory 2. Learn basic human anatomy 3. Learn how to use computer image program things to improve your art's quality. I'm not sure how you could find #1 and 2, but it would help you a lot. Truthscape - qeltar's excellent insights into RuneScape and moreCave Story - Best Free RPG ever-Retired.
