They are vulnerable after purification with an elven chime. Each has a weakness against one of crush, stab or slash weapon types when vulnerable - look carefully to work out which. Their sonic attack is a ranged attack. Examine when tainted: You don't think you can harm this terrorbird. Examine when cleansed: It is vulnerable now but it won't last for long. Drops before I changed tasks :) 1 x 1 soul rune 1 x 7 death runes 1 x 41 air runes 1 x 80 feathers Feel free to use any of this in the bestiary, thanks! Beauty2blue Posted September 9, 2007 Share Posted September 9, 2007 The warped tortoise also drops curved bones. You can sell the curved bones in Dorgesh-Kaan to a goblin named Barlak. He gives you 1k gp and construction xp. You can also sell the tortoise shells and perfect shells to him for a varied price and crafting xp. When fighting the tortoise near the entrance if it is killed close to the entrance you cannot pick up the drops as you get automatically send outside the dungeon. Marsh Posted October 12, 2007 Share Posted October 12, 2007 remarkably easy to kill with melee for their level, and very responsive to poison. Although they can be ranged and maged, (there are safe spots on upper level with second tortoise), range is not very effective (1-5s for me compared to 14-19 with same equipment killing blue dragons), and mage only moderately so. Much much easier than lower level warped terror birds. I required no prayer and very little food. There is one spon near the entrance, where if u kill tortoise there, u can't pick up drops, but rather u exit the sewer.-- Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
