I used to own and cherish the Saradomin Godsword some time ago for when i did slayer. Didn't take long for it to fall out of favor with me though once i realized the Saradomin Sword and Abyssal Whip have greater efficiency. I don't like the inconsistency of the spec either. Then of course, i got the Enhanced Excalibur and eventually Soul Split, which sealed the deal for me. Seeing as i don't PK and seldom partake in PvP activities, i have little use for godswords. I suppose i'd borrow the Bandos one for the spec should i start Boss Hunting.

While i don't play for rank, I like to observe how the ranking change and my stats progress. Neat to see my total rank slowly get higher as i progress i will admit.

As a matter of fact, I was comparing costs and was considering those. Good to know someone else believes it's a viable option. :)

Ok. Tired of my low herblore level. Level 79 and i want to level it up to 90-91. Can anyone point me to some guides / offer advice on cost effective methods? Thanks.

Last i checked the elite top and bottom are stored seperately, don't know what happens to the gloves though. Suppose you'd need to make a full set of regular void.

I don't think you have room to judge me there. Did you even read what i posted? I'm not wasting the last 5 prayer points i have on someone else who is too lazy to glory Edgevile, restock and run back. If someone feels it's worth risking valuable items for 2 dozen dust devils while at < 80hp then go for it but i'm not risking my own safe-guard of prayer, supporting foolish behavior after strongly advising him against his actions. And again, particularly when he's trying (and failing) to kill steal from myself and others. Also, if i died at dust devils then i deserved it. They really are not a threat to me, even with a connection loss. :-|

I can live with the sub-par human damage sounds, i just hate the spoon hitting around the inside of a tin bucket when holding a shield. Although that said, i kinda liked imagining my character's voice, the grunts ruin it slightly for me, oh well! Just please fix the other armour impact sounds :<

Oh boy. I was in the Chaos Tunnels the other day slaying Dust Devils when another player was down to the last handful on his assignment. Nearly red-barred, no food, no prayer, risking perhaps 3m+. Being too stubborn to bank for supplies, he asked me to bless his grave if he died. I had little prayer on reserve and warned him of the risks of doing so; he died anyway... ....and then apparently managed to get teleported into several wrong rooms and die again. His grave crumbled. Proceeded to flame me for his own foolishness. I could have perhaps repaired the grave and saved him his items, but i felt he needed to learn a lesson. Not to mention he was rude and attacking dusties i was engaged with. :shame: Players these days take gravestones for granted too much.

I thought it was pretty clear that you received an elite top for free. Although it seems a lot of people were indeed confused as you were. At least you have a spare in case you lose that one. 100 commendations isn't that difficult to get a hold of anyway.

That would make as much sense as a dragon platebody being a mage's item.

I agree I was kinda disappointed that they did away with the Tower Shield design of the falador 3. It's a unique design to RuneScape. Too many squares and kites already. Still, it's a nice shield and i'm not complaining about the double prayer restore. They coulda increased the farming bonus though just slightly. Regardless the elite stuff looks grand, the elite diaries were great incentive for me to level prayer (besides soul split and turmoil of course). Personally i love the extra bstaves and double loot from bork. Too bad the armour doesn't give you the chance to mine double runite. :P I'm guessing the legs will be based on the Kharidian area. Or perhaps Morytania. Looking forward to them regardless :thumbup:

Also it's borrow -.- "Need assist in thieving/hunter/agility/mining/firemaking" etc. - Please. Doesn't anyone read how the assist system works? No apparently not because only "no life nerds" read manuals. Egotistical and pretentious people. You'll find most of these hanging at Edgeville or GE. A 99 slayer refused to even consider the fact that Mutated Bloodvelds do drop addy boots, instead dismissing it and telling me to get 99 slayer before challenging his knowledge.

Just used the sword on an Iron Dragon task. Was hitting consistent high damage with the spec (783 was my best) and general stab attacks. Funny though, a player with higher stats than me was ridiculing that fact i was using the sword at metals. Yet i was destroying the dragons faster than he was with his whip. :-D It's definitely my new favourite stabby weapon until i get a chaotic rapier at least. :thumbup: I've also replaced my d'hide with the elite void. Sure it's slightly less magic defence but the +8 prayer makes up for it, in my opinion anyway.

Call me crazy but i enjoyed the Conquest section. I'm terrible against other players at it. Random note: Just occurred to me that the Scout and Nomad share the same idle combat stance. I really like that. :P Aside from the undershirt colour of the elite void, i think it looks really cool. Almost like body armour! Shame i'm not a void user to really appreciate the set. Maybe i'll try get that deflector and try it out properly now.

I've not hit anything that high on a single person/monster yet. However the special attack does chain and hit multiple people within a certain distance of each other. I think the max is 3. Been testing it out in soul wars. Killed 2 range pures who were running past as i used the spec (Two 200+ hits) on another person. I think the weapon has potential. I really like it and i hope it doesn't end up being another quest item you shelf.

Uh, i lost the sword when teleporting out of the conquest section and Korasi has ran off into the fight battle room. ... How do i get it back now? :ohnoes:

Can you train strength with Korasi's sword? Maybe it'll make a nice tradeout for a saradomin sword.

I got a kq head while verac'ing with a friend many years ago on my 4th trip (before lootshare, i believe that disables the chances of getting one). People always commented that they've seen plenty of KBD trophies but not a KQ one before. I'd have to say the same also Plus, quite frankly, the KQ head is almost intimidating to stand next to. :ohnoes:
