Mercifull
Contact the tipit admins. they obviously have some kind of filtering modificatiojn which is falsely blocking you. This isnt an error I have heard about natively. Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. r2d2
I once did it... If I remember correctly you would type 192.168.1.1 into a browser's address bar, and there would be an option there somewhere, though it varies based on the router... I can't remember if it is the external or internal IP address that you change from there... Are you using an open proxy or other indirect connection? is it possible someone else used your IP address? if it was only one site... how many sites were you unable to register to? Whether this will work depends on your ISP. To access your router it is usually 192.168.1.1 but if that doesn't work do this: Make sure you are connected to your network. Go to Start>All programs>Accessories>Command Prompt. Type "ipconfig" and press enter. It should give you a bunch of information including "gateway address". Type the gateway address into your browsers address bar.

Thanks, Nicrune007 Well all your computers and routers have the same IP adress cause you have the same network. Just use a proxy or you can use a IP changer, search it up on google. He shouldn't have to use a proxy to get on a normal website from his home internet connection. That's just going around the problem and not fixing it. Unplug your modem and router from the power source over night (may need to for 24hours). Then plug them back in and you should have a new IP adress if you have a dynamic IP from your ISP. Are you sure it didn't say you EMAIL address is already in use ? :? Provide a screenshot of the error if possible. Friend of his used his computer and got him IP banned? Exactly why I asked for a screenshot of the error. I know just about every line of code in phpBB , and theres nowhere that would have generated an error with that text, nor would an admin use it as a ban reason that is displayed to the user. Stop suggesting he change his IP address , that doesn't solve a problem , only hides it and delays it from being identified and fixed. Besides, its nearly impossible with most ISP's anyways. McGuff1
Hmmm. We have a router and my son can log in from one computer and I from another. I'm pretty sure that their IP Address will be the same to tip.it. See Albosky's replies. He's the expert on these sort of thingys. I tried to signUp for this site ( forgot what was the site lol ) Are you talking about tip.it or some other site you are having problems with? A reminder to all.
