Ice barrage question

aight i was wondering do u get exp per damage? and if i was to castle war it would i get more exp per cast then just 82 exp it says you get per cast...

Yes you get exp per cast as well as the base exp, just like other spells. I think, although i'm not too sure, that you get half the exp per damage as it's multi-target.. so 2 mage exp per damage instead of 4.

I can only cast Ice burst but i find the best place for Exp is Pc,

 

You run up to the portals and ancient the monsters around the portal.

 

 

 

I love ancienting around the purple Portal as near the end of the game(If its still there) usally has Lots of Npc's begging to get iced.

 

 

 

One of the times i was watching, i Got 60 damege points with one cast of Ice burst beside portal, so thats a heck of exp per hour, Specailly with Barrage.

 

 

 

downside is you burn money fast

dont train magic at pc. Since the recent update, you only get half the normal exp per damage of the monsters there.

True but i cant think of a better concentration of monsters...

You get xp of multi targets that is awesome, love ice barraging!

Cast it on bandits in the desert, theres ton of them all gathered together.

 

However, either use protect prayer or cast blood barrage instead, or you're gonna get pretty badly hurt.

The monkeys and skeletons on ape atoll is a good choice for ice bursting. barraging costs too much. I've tested barraging at bandits and ape atoll and the bursting, and i think ape atoll is the best place.

You get a certain base magic exp for one cast, for every damage you done in the magic spell, you would receive 2 (i think?) extra exp for every 1 damage done added to the base magic exp. The higher total damage done from all targets you hit, the more bonus exp you get added to base casting magic exp.

But... The extra xp from ice barrage when you hit like a bunch of enemies high will make it not matter. I cant use ice burst, but I think the 3x3 spells are awesome.

but do that same damage in say cwars and you'll get double the xp
