October 4, 200718 yr Author Lol, I kept getting fooled by that when I was working on it, I kept hitting CTRL+D (deselect). I still want there to be a meteor ring around the impact, any suggestions on how to improve?

October 4, 200718 yr I love it! I think it' s perfect, but if the meteor belt gets improved, then it' s godly! And I didn' t know the smaller one was an ice planet :XD: Gotta get me one of theese Photoshop thingies. October 4, 200718 yr Author Messed around with the meteor belt- V2.2 What do you guys think? I didn't want to make it white as it wouldn't show up, so I went for a muddy type of shockwave, as in the dust and crap from the planets getting blasted out.
October 4, 200718 yr Should be working now. @Nadril: I can't seem to locate the tutorial- the full view isn't it and I downloaded it and there were just some firefox documents. I'd really like to see it. It should just be some Firefox documents, been a while since I looked at it.
October 5, 200718 yr Author I think I've got it now. I was reluctant to open the firefox documents at first, since I thought the tut would be an image. Guess not. It looks pretty good so far, thanks for the link.

October 5, 200718 yr Problem with the dust ring is there's no crust and large particulates being blasted. Could use differing colors for the collision. With a brighter color for the shockwave. I still think the angles on the right side differ from the left. Think the tectonic plate edges on the blue planet could be lil brighter with some way of showing distinction for the venting gases. Other than that I still give it a 8.5/10. Love the total rework of the planets/moon. Like the lava/gasy planet of the brown/red planet and the tectonic plates on the blue planet. Have 2 fully distinguished planets without needing the light from the collision. Like that the collision light matches on both sides, mostly. Def one of the best pic's posted here on tip.it that I've seen so far. Heartz Pragmatic, efficient, perfectionist. So I'm sorry ahead of time for any views, opinions, and decisions from myself :ÃÆÃâÃâ¦Ã¾
October 5, 200718 yr Whell, in my oppinion it' s perfect. But, I suggest you learn from this: In my oppinion, the best made collision ever. Maybe you could learn something from it. October 5, 200718 yr Author Thanks for suggestions, Heartz_Mage, I'll take them into account. @Mico: I think I've seen that before, it is awesome, I agree. The thing is my signature is small and it would be hard to get that level of detail in. It's already quite hectic around the collison, and there's alot of white, which I would prefer to keep.

October 5, 200718 yr If anyone even thinks about saying that is not perfect, I will cry  My god. I. Love. It. I think you could become the number one planet maker here. If you don' t have any ideas, I could give you one. Now let' s see...you could do a sunrise. A planet then rays of light coming from the tip. Or let' s say an asteroid passing a star, leaving a magnificent line of gas. Oh and you rock. October 5, 200718 yr Dont like the blue "triangles" on the right side of smaller planet, otherwise it looks quite good.
October 6, 200718 yr Author Dont like the blue "triangles" on the right side of smaller planet, otherwise it looks quite good. I still need to work on the light shining through the cracks. I think once I've done that, then it will be pretty much perfect without having to totally change the image. Can people help me with this?

The light shining through should be white, I wouldn't see any reason why it'd be blue. Try just switching it to white and lowering opacity some, or setting it to screen. PS: I got Inspired to make my own planet that'll be part of a space scene because of your sig. I forgot how much fun space scenes are :).

October 6, 200718 yr Wow the new shockwave makes it so much better. Nice job. -All sigs by me.[My Gallery]
