Nopheo
Why do you want to range them? Green dragons are the way to go. Much better than either and blues.
Xeones
Crystal Bow at Blue Dragons = FTW Ruby Bolts (e) at Iron Dragons = FTW Anything at Black/Red Dragons = FTL

Italian5kamikaze
Well your range isnt even ranked yet but get it to about 70-75 and range them with mith bolts, probably not the best idea though. Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.
Dexek
Hmm.. so it wouldn't be worth ranging black dragons with a crystal bow and 90+ range? I would think that the hides alone will pay for the 180k charge, and opens the chances of a visage drop. If not for training, would they be worth ranging just for the sake of ranging a monster to get drops? PoetryIndexed Picture 1Indexed Picture 2 Killed my maxed Zerker pure April 2010 Rebooting Runescape

hyjack01
Quality of these forums would be a lot better if people ONLY REPLIED if they knew what they were talking about...... Range is an excellent way to kill red/black dragons, you only need a decent rangelvl!! 85 and up +rangepots, crystal bow or cbow/ruby&diamond bolts will do the job. Below this lvl you have no business there, it will take ages to kill a dragon (also lfor ower lvl melee/mage)

Black Dragons have high Ranged defense and high HP. In the time it would take to kill 1 Black Dragon with Crystal Bow and 73 Ranged, you could probably kill 2-3 Blue Dragons. That would be better cost-wise. If you're looking for a Visage, Iron Dragons all the way. I know what I'm talking about, kthxbai.
