Pinky is just a tad short.

the hand isnt holding it.. it's in it's grasp but not holding, you have the fingers pressing against the handle, while in reality the fingers would be going over the handle holding it also

however should the knife (looks more like knife held upside down rather then a sword) should be in the underneath the fingers.

not bad maybe just put the pole more into his hand so it dont look like his pinky is short and instead it willl looks like his pinky is rapped around the pole
