October 6, 200718 yr May i recomend ankous? They have lots of good drops including deaths and bloods =] thought they dont drop bloods as fast as bloodvelds i believe. 99 attack-34,104th to 99 attack.
October 6, 200718 yr Blood runes are not a rare drop, so a ring of wealth will not help you. You must have bad luck, because they're a pretty common drop for me (I don't use wealth).

October 6, 200718 yr oh i wan just doin my slayer task. thought of skipping the bloodvelds but then i remembered that some one said tht i could get lots of blood runes from them. so i am trying them.They have low defence, 120HP, and have decent drops, so no reason why you should skip them. Plus, you can use guthans on them (even though they're mage-based).

Plus, you can use guthans on them (even though they're mage-based). I dunno about Guthans, every time I tried to wear it on my last task, I'd get hit for 5-6-5-5 and heal 15. Still down more than I started with. I'd suggest melee with your absolute best magic defence, or better yet, ranged. You'll get not only bloods, but plenty of fires, GP and a few alchables. October 7, 200718 yr Even if they didn't drop blood runes, you should never skip a Bloodveld task :) They're one of the best slayer monsters imo. Pirate Rosetta stone. Learn a language while you scape.Sounds interesting, but these days how many people really speak Pirate?
