Nope, you must use the facemask to Kill them

I remember someone saying there was a way to use full guthans down there but im not exactly sure and i dont think you were able to go without the facemask for very long.

Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.

I think you get hit 8 or 12 damage every second or so. And you can use guthans on the fire giants nearby i have heard.

I'm pretty sure it's impossible to use the guthan's for long enough to let the set effect kick in with any regularity.

Being immature is a part of being mature.

One thing, the dungeon itself hurts you if you don't have a facemask on, not if you're just fighting a dust devil. You can technically use Guthans but only for a few seconds hoping for a lucky heal. It's just not worth it in my opinion, I would never try it.

However (this may be a bug), if you have melee prayer on the whole time, you will never go below 1 hp for some reason, so this makes it good for Dharokers, but you have to pray the WHOLE time. One mistake and you could die. I have seen this been done before.

But i think dust devil hits through prayer if you dont wear a gas mask..

that training is for the fire giants

Not sure about that, but he was just asking about in the dungeon, not at dust devils. So I was just talking about in the dungeon

the smoke never kills you , only gets you down to 1 hp.

if you kill the dust devil's in the north area, theres fire elements on the west side (near the torch stand) , if you wear the guthan helm you can take about 2-3 swings with the spear before the smoke gets you.
