pandaownage
well, it is really just lines filled in with paint bucket. Here are my suggestions. ~You saved it as jpg, never never never never ever do that. Save it as png. ~Anatomy. You can't have a person with the head bigger than the body, it wouldn't look right. (Pretty much perportion of the body) ~Shading, don't do just 2 colors and call it shading. Shading is gradually going from light to dark. No all of the sudden. I'm sure i missed some stuff, i'll let other people catch it. Good luck in the future

Unoalexi
and why png instead of jpg whats the difference? Png is higher quality, and with JPEG you get all kinds o funny colored dots around the image.. Here be dragons ^ Dragon of the Day

Png is higher quality, and with JPEG you get all kinds o funny colored dots around the image.. If thats the case, is there any reason why people made JPEG? Does it save any particular thing better? On topic: What I don't understand is why it is darker on the side facing TOWARDS the moon, while it is lighter on the side facing AWAY from the moon. You completely messed up the shading. JPEG was created to save memory space, although it ruins the quality of a picture, it does knock its file size down quite a bit as well. (sigs are sometimes JPEG's for uzzisoft) As for the original pixel, i suggest more variant colors, more shading, and the fixing of a couple anatomy problems Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. pryomancer
Saving an image as a .jpeg doesn't automatically ruin it... When set to 100% quality it's no different than a .png, and it's very useful as .jpeg is one of the most widely supported file extensions.

PNG works in firefox and opera.. and i think most programs support it... it does not work so well in IE though.. at least version 6 The following statement is true. The previous statement is false. 60% of all statistics are made up 90% of the time andrew i love you & want you to have my babys!!! If you compress it correctly there isn't a large quality loss. @OP: It really isn't good, just looks like some kids doodling on paint. Try and read up on anatomy, shading... well, everything. Lower file size. And shading isn't a real biggie IMO. Try two tone shading with shadow. danke Schon Sam!^^"Blood runs thicker, oh were thick as thieves you know"-Carl Barât
