Honestly it's really a matter of preferernce, but if it were my choice it'd be mith bolts, they can sell nice if you decide not to use them and if you want to use them they're great to use for both training and hunting boss-like creatures like iron dragons.

 

If you choose not to make bolts and just want flat out good exp per hour go for darts/knives.

 

If you don't want bolts and want as much efficient exp from your bars go for arrows with a magic short bow.

 

 

 

so imo, Bolt > Dart > Knives > Arrows.

 

 

 

But of course, it can varie upon people's prefernces.

make bolts, with 78 range and r x bow you hit like 19 :shock:
