October 28, 200718 yr Okay, thanks - is there a set amount of time that the disease effect occurs in? Or do herbs just get diseased randomly? And, how long does a herb patch that is diseased take to die? The only way to know if a herb patch is diseased is if I attatch an amulet of nature or I stand next to it, right? There are no other ways of telling if your herbs are diseased or not, which stinks for people like me who do other things then do a farm run. :( Disease can occur in any growth cycle (like when they usually get grow they get diseased instead) A diseased patch will die in the next growth cycle (I think) And the only way to tell if your patch is diseased is to be standing by it or have nature ammy attached to it So you can have 3 herb patches going that you know won't have disease 1. My Arm's patch 2. Patch w/ ammy linked to it 3. A patch you're standing near (PS it's easy to do things such as alching, fming, or fishing near the catherby herb patch since it's near a bank, and have the natutre ammy linked to another patch and my arm's patch going at the same time) Yeah, that's terrible for me, I need to RC lots. =S Is the disease effect frequent? How often do herbs get diseased: 1 every two runs, three runs, or what? And is it worth it to get an amulet of nature and if so, which patch should I enchant it to? (please note that I am only using herb patches such as rannar for profit) I think an amulet of nature is pretty pointless (for me at least), because I'd have to wear it or carry it around with me, which is hard because I need inventory space and a glory to RC with. -.- Thanks! P.S. Posting multiple questions in one thread ftw.
October 28, 200718 yr Even super compost isn't a 100% guarantee of a healthy plant that gets to additional treatment. The only way for a 100% guantee of you're herb growing to it's fullest is by you standing next to it for the whole time while holding a plant cure potion (prefferably alching to not make the time a complete waste). Also, I'm pretty sure you can't pay farmers to take care of herb patches. Was I supposed to use a plant cure potion on the patch instead of digging it from the ground? That depends. If it's "diseased" you use a plant cure on it, if it's "dead", which is the next step after diseased it's gone forever and you will have to use a shovel and dig it out. October 28, 200718 yr The only ways to be sure the herb won't die are (you can't pay a farmer for herb patches): 1) Stand next to it and use plant cure if it gets diseased. 2) Plant it in Trollheim's patch (requires My Arm's Bid Adventure) This signature is intentionally left blank.
October 28, 200718 yr If you do my arm's big adventure you can get access to a disease-free herb patch
