I'm bored, so I decided to actually do something constructive (that isn't in rants). If you have any questions on how to live in the wildy (In F2P though I'll be happy to try to help with P2P...though if your trying to survive in there your either a genius, or a madman) feel free to ask.I'll answer around soon or tommorow. ::'

Hi! I feel like i make pretty good pure accounts... one 38 and one 46 which should own on paper.

but when i take them to the wildy, yes, i have mad lag, but more importantly, i never kill people and rather always die. do you think you could help me?

Nah it still does a damage area of around...I'd say...3x3 or 4x4 squares around you?I don't think they nerfed it though....why nerf it when they come out with a godsword?Slash 92,crush 80,strength 93.See if they changed that at all if you want to make sure.

Kahote...hmm...well is your pure focused on purely one stat?If so, they may be using more stats than you, (like focusing on def and atck) or they might have a large ammount of food.Or, even worse, you could be facing a guy who pures on the counter of your pure (archers kill mages, mages kill knights, knights kill archers)

Um, well...

Level 38 pure ranger

- 57 range

- 41 mage

- nothing else... so he should be decent (no k0 but shouldn't really die as easily as he does)

Level 46 hybrid

- 40 att

- 53 str

- 31 pray

- 46 range

I know that range isn't where it should be (could be around 60 or more without changing cb except for hp).

Yet, i still die way too much and never kill. not to mention that before i trained range on the hybrid, i was potting + super str praying and wasn't killing anyone... but rather dying a ton!

Those are really tough questions that I doubt he has the answer for. Although strength as always been considered 'better' especially in f2p, there is a lot of talk that jagex is giving more and more benefits to players with defense (ie: the two latest prayer additions) which is the only reason why i would advise you to try 60 att/40 str. But good luck whatever you end up doing!

Can anyone help ME out? :D

Well kahote, your ranger in theory should be fine...Unless your going against archer pro's, then your going against a pure who can do twice the ammount of damage you can do with both of your skills.Hybrid is great...though don't go close range (I have a 49 with near the same atack as yours) and all the stuff you have seem's to be what anyone near that level would have. Also, don't atack the opposite of the armor your wearing (don't wear full rune if your going against a mage, dont wear archery armor against a warrior, and don't wear robes near any dam archers). Also, just hope to god (or whoever you worship..or not...I don't know) they aren't using stronger weapons than yours ._.

What would be better for a f2p pure?

1 def 60 atk 40 str with rune longsword - would hit often

1 def 40 atk 60 str with rune scim - bigger hits but not as often?

Omg my opinion: no chance... u wont live long with those stats (if a f2p duel arena would exist i would recommend them) for pking NO

Ok i got a Pure Range/Mage

lvl 47 Cb 68 range 62 mage 48 Hp

the issue with your file is that you didnt make your file equally, ive read many guides (not tip.it) stating you should train both lvls to an even number for example if you have a new file train range to 40 which will be lvl 27 cb then mage to 38-39 which will only lvl you to 28 cb and giving you around 29hp

if you keep your lvls in balance and also keep mage 5 lvls lower than your range lvl once you hit 60 range.

training this method as worked wonders for me, hope it helps

EDIT: For the keep 5 mage lvls under your range depends on the person, am doing it that way, other say keep it 10 lvls lower. BUT ALWAYS KEEP IT UNDER RANGE!!!

Doesn't this thread defeat the whole point of the Graveyard Help & Advice forum?

Pretty much, but a lot of people only go to this forum and do not look in there because they get called noob for their questions. This is basics. Graveyard is for advanced questions I'd say.

Hmm, methinks we have a forum for this kind of thing :P

Please, if you have any questions just post them in Graveyard Help & Advice. It's what it's there for, ask whatever you want and just ignore the idiots who feel big by calling you names for asking questions, ask away!

Locked.
