totalpwnage Posted November 7, 2007 Share Posted November 7, 2007 Great guide, but one problem: Horrible pray bonus. I would suggest a mitre instead of ah hood. 5 pray, 4 mage. I also suggest zammy book. 5 pray, 8 mage. You've sacrificed 9 mage bonus for 10 pray bonus, which will save you a LOT of money in ppots. Mage bonus > Pray bonus. It wont save you that much in pots, and if it does you'll hit better and more anyway. That's why i said the gear is optonial but that gear was alright for me. You sure? You might wanna have someone test it. Started free trade with 1.5m cash. 2 weeks later, have hit max cash 2x. I have been reserving this method for training mage, and wanted to know the xp rate and xp/gp ratio, but haven't had time or cash to investigate. Now, finally, I know! I was scared it would be THAT expensive, though. The lunar technique is ~120K xp/hr, costing roughly 700K an hour (theoretical). That may be a better alternative. Ever wanted to find street prices of RS items? Kevin_ Posted March 7, 2008 Author Share Posted March 7, 2008 The probelm with Ice Barrage, while it does give more exp, also costs you so much more money (and prayer potions/super restores are expensive as it is). Also, you can burst about 22 levels sooner. I take it this guide is about getting fast exp while on a budget? Also, about the Lunar method Sseli wrote about...I may have a guess or two about what spell is uses... Overall, great guide, cuts right to the point with good details 9/10 \ Acutally if you Barrage they spawn weird. This was the guide I had dearly sought. 11/10. Very detailed, yet very concise and informative. Care to add the PC Method for those of us who are not so rich? The PC Points would sure subsidise the cost by a lot. Also, it would be wonderful if you can also post the gp/xp ratio for both MM Tunnel and PC methods? Thank you very much! Glad you like it, but i never PC'ed before and i never will :P. And about the gp/xp ratio, can't really say that because yeah, i didn't look into that. I can say this though : It's 1462K Gp loss an hour and 1320 Casts an hour aproximatly. about how much exp per hour? About 180k/H. Some people dream of success, while others make it happen.
