I have no cannon.... Should I even bother with this task? if so what do you recommend?

It's ussually good exp, I find a chain helps more than a plate though.

It's about as good of a task you're going to get when you don't own a cannon. They should be one of you're main sources of slayer exp, so yes definetly always do them (if you're not cannoning I personally find the spot north of the Trollhelm teleport the best, the one north of burthope can be really crowded and have cannon users there.

Well I personally would guthan them. If you have money for guthans or already have a set then do that.

 

 

 

If not there is always range. Try ranging them at Death Plateau from behind/inside the tent to the far east.

 

 

 

If you prefer not to range or feel you do not have a high enough range level then I suggest changing your task, as you will probably go through alot of food.

If you can get hold of a halberd, you can have a wonderful time in the prison area of the Stronghold. There are two sleeping guards just outside the cages, and you can sit inside and poke them through the railings for free xp. Maging/ranging works too, although it's a bit less fun.

I would say finish the task, don't like them, go down death plateau and voila! A slayer master that can change asignments!

Thanks guys. I went and meleed them, I was confused because Axe Man Jack says to cannon them and I read they can hit 13. I didn't know they were so inaccurate though.
