Woodcutting question

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm almost 91 woodcutting and I'm wondering what is the fastest way to get 99? Willows or Maples?

A quand un monde fran̮̤̉̉ais?

Willows are the fastest exp per hour right up to 99.

I thought that but willow gives 67.5 exp instead of 100 exp for the maples. That means maple gives 1,5x more exp than the willows. Do you think that willow can be cut 1,5x faster than maples?

Willows do give less XP per log. But maples are harder to cut. So you have more willow logs in an hour then maples. So willows gives you a better XP in a hour then maples.

If u have a Dragon Axe, you could try the maples. Just try maples for 10 minutes, and do the same with willows.

maple xp in 10 minutes x 6= hour exp.

willow xp in 10 minutes x 6= hour exp.

Just try and see what fits for you.

I would recommend willows at Barbarian Outpost.

But I personally power woodcut elsewhere and get 60-75k per hour.

Well, I'm currently F2P and I don't if I have to back to P2P to get 99. Cutting willows don't need to be P2P but it helps. What should I do, back to P2P or keep being F2P?

A quand un monde fran̮̤̉̉ais?

In F2P you will have to compete with a lot of autoers , but you can get 99 in f2p

You can just chop willows in draynor if you stay f2p, but I would suggest maples in p2p for less clicking for slightly less exp and more cash.

I dont like maples because they are not so fast as willows. And draynor in f2p is not good for xp.

Draynor is the best play, I think for F2P. Why do you say that is bad?

On F2P I would suggest the Draynor willows.

On P2P I would suggest the Barberian Assult willows.

Good luck with 99 woodcutting. ::'

Thanks :D

Draynor ISN'T the best for woodcutting exp, try rimmy instead 5-10k better exp/hour.

Oh! You mean, instead of bank the willows, sell them to the shop? Well, it's faster, but I prefer bank them ;)

Draynor in f2p is not good because of the autoers. Rimminton is much better in f2p.

Yes, but you can't bank them :(

A quand un monde fran̮̤̉̉ais?

if you want the best f2p wc exp and bank the logs then i think draynor is the only solution.
