full dhorok or or whip with dhorok

Featured Replies

hey witch would be better a combo with whip, dhorok pl8, obby shueld and dhorok legs or full dhorok?

Well if you go to ape atoll and get to 1 hp and use prayer then full dharok is good. Or for general melee training use the other option

Well honestly it depends on what he's training. Some more information would be nice, for if strength training, whip is obviously out of the picture.

imo take torag legs and body not dharok, torag has better stats :P

and dharoking is good for undead slayer tasks if no headthingy needed

If you are doing slayer stick with the whip and rune defender.

It has been proven that prior to the release of rune defenders and slayer masks, dharoking was about 5-10% more effective for killing slayer tasks, however with the release of those items, dharoks has become obsolete.

If you plan on strength training. Then dharoks at Ape Atoll alter is the best place. You can get upwards of 90k exp an hour there using super str and att pots and the highest str prayer. Just be sure to bring super-anti pots as there is a little spider there that will poison you constantly and hes a dangerous little guy -.-

Apparently, my signature was to big.

Torags plate and legs have the same stats as Dharoks plate and legs. Also, why is Dh better on undeads? i'd assume you mean using dharoks with salve, but then, you can use salve with whip too.

To the original question.. My favourite way of training melee is wearing a non-degradable armour set like rune to train, then switch to guthans to heal. This saves a bomb on repair costs. If you cant afford guthans, get dharoks and a whip, then you've got a good way of training attack strength and defense.

Then the poison spider hits you and you die of poison.

I say it depends what your doing. Whip if training attack and def, Dharoks at AA for str.
