You must really be pathetic to cry over a person who you met on a MMORPG.

Dang dude...your just wrong. I mean no one is ever perfect. And people need to fail/fall to learn their errors. Instead of kicking them when their down why not point out their mistake then suggest how to recover.

I disagree Mello, because this has nothing to do with the faults of the op...

In my opinion the one who is pathetic is you purfishx. I mean, come on, how pathetic do you have to be to criticize others over the internet to proof you are cool, tough or whatever you want to proof.

So what if he cried, this just goes to show the 'friend' meant a lot to the op... Now why don't you go deal with your own insecurities somewhere else and not bother the members of tif with it.

Edit:

LOLOWNED

Who don't you just leave this board?

Aww. We care why?

Aww, don't be so mean. He just lost a friend. The same thing kind of happened to me, but not in the same way. A friend of mine and me used to go pking whenever we say each other on. We were able to watch each other's back. But then, one day, he suddenly stopped playing. I never heard from him again :|

I think everybody can tell that the "friend" meant something to the thread starter, but that doesn't change anything. It's unhealthy to get that involved with someone that, by the looks of it, the guy barely knew.

Plus you just don't admit some things in public. :-X

Wanna know why I criticized him? Because he has to find out that life isn't fair. He cried because he lost a friend who he knew from a MMORPG and then posted it here to get our sympathy. People have gone through worst things in LIFE and sucked it up and went along with their lives. Idc if you think I put up this "stunt" to make people think I'm cool, I've been scammed by my ex-best friend but I didn't make a whole topic about it. The world is full of bad people and and he stumbled across one bad one who made him lose a few pixels. Just because you've lost a friend doesn't mean bs. They're plenty of other people in the world I'm sure who would be your friend.

Firstly, how exactly is that unhealthy? I mean, how well do you know your friends (irl), do you really think you know all of their secrets? You can never know everything about someone, so where exactly do you draw the line.

And how do you know how involved the op was with his 'friend'? I can only see him saying they pked a lot and split their profits...

Secondly, about that last line of yours. Do you think it is something to be ashamed of to cry. Are you afraid to admit you have cried in your life? I've cried, is there something wrong with that? Crying is a normal human response, some do it more than others, does that make them sissies (or whatever term you would like them to use)?

People should start seeing they have been influenced way too much by their surroundings, people are way too insecure and afraid they will get laughed at by their peers. I can openly admit to any friend I have that I have cried. Maybe you people should try it too. If you can't tell your friends something like that without them laughing at you, you should realise you don't have very good friends.

I agree, life isn't fair, but what kind of lesson do you think you're giving him by saying he is pathetic? That people on the internet are bleeps? There are enough people on tif to give him that lesson, so why not try being a little nicer?

As for sympathy. If you don't want to give him sympathy, fine, you don't have to. But if you don't like his thread, or you don't like the fact that he is trying to make people feel sorry for him, don't post on his topic. You have every right to post here, but this is a forum for discussions and such and if you don't have anything to contribute, don't post.

Now I realise that his post isn't exactly a discussion, but that doesn't mean you should start insulting him. Just report the post and ignore it.

As for pipeelbakan, don't post these kind of topics here. I am sorry to hear about your friend's 'betrayal', but there is a sticky designed for these kind of posts, http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=594522, so post there and not on the general discussion board.
