I did not want to use state college songs, or official state songs, but songs with the state name in the title. Barring that, I also picked songs with the state or a city of that state in the song title or lyrics, or a band with the state name. If I still couldnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t think of a song, I picked a band from that state. HereÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s what I came up with! Some were easy, like "Arizona" and "New York, New York", and there are plenty of songs about California. But some states were hard to think of a song for, or even a band from that state. Off the top of my head I'd sub: "All my Ex's live in Texas" - George Strait "Ohio" - CSNY "Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man" (works for either :P) - Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn "Midnight Train to Georgia" - Gladys Knight & the Pips "Oklahoma!" (from the musical of the same name) "Detroit Rock City" - KISS (for Michigan) I really dig your choice for Virginia - very well-thought out.
