BMP's are horribly compressed anyways.
Bitmaps aren't compressed at all, that's why the file sizes are so large.

Yeah. I couldn't remember if they were just barely compressed or not at all. Needless to say they're huge. :P

As said... There isn't really a reason to even use .bmp's :) They are huge in filesize, more than tenfold compared to a .png which has the same quality, and about 20x the size of an average .jpg. Especially on forums, the image will take so long to load people wont even see the point you're making with it, because they'll just skip it.

Here's a few that are fast and reliable in case Imageshack is down (or if it's too slow for you):

The only reason I tried to uploaded it as a bmp is because I tried uploading it after scanning it (this picture I want to upload is a drawing made by yours truly), and it wouldn't accept the file type, so I just saved it as a bmp. And it's the entire server; I tried uploading some random pic and it wouldn't load. TinyPic isn't working for me either. :(

3/4 of BlueLancer's links didn't load, and freeimagehosting.net got an error screen and said that the connection was reset. I tried a random image on freeimagehosting and that worked, however. What should I do? :?

24 MB? That's massive, it'll never upload. I'm not even sure if it's possible to upload it to a normal image hosting site.

You should be able to right-click on the image and open it with Paint. Then go to File -> Save As and select a different file type (like .jpg or .png). It should be smaller after that.

^ It's dimensions are 3300 X 2550, it's size is 24.0 MD, and it's a bitmap image. I don't know how to change its type to a jpeg or something, help!

Thats much to big, did you read the actual text on imageshack that tells you the maximum upload size is something like 1.5MB?

Do yourself a favor and save it as a .JPG or size it down a bit and save as a PNG.
