Leveling Herblore

Featured Replies

After you complete the quest, whats the quickest way to get it up and farm for it?

Well, from 3- 40 herblore, I just collected herbs from druids and made them into pots, then I bought herbs in bulk and just made them into pots.

Chaos druids in edge dungeon

you can go with the old way (druids),

or with the relativly new and more effective (worthwhile) method, farming.

The best way is to combine the two.

Farming is a good method of gettin' some herbs. But, it's never enough. So what Matok said is a good way. Combine farming with killing Druids.

And remember: always buy in bulk. It's the fastest way!

Cave crawlers are fun too, just bring antidote, and mix potions right there.

Do all quests which give herblore XP.

Trust the Gene Genie!

1. Farm them

2. Kingdom Management them

3. Kill Abby Spectres, they're far far FAR more frequent and abdunant higher level herb droppers.

I do this, buy all my 2nds in bulk and make a good profit.

I kingdom manage for my herbs, its the cheapest way to buy your herbs. They cost a little over 800 each when you use your kingdom. It is not the quickest way but it adds up over time. Plus you have huge stockpiles of herbs when you reach a level that you can use them. I had 600 dwarf weeds to use when i hit my level for range pots. I also do a very small amount of farming, but not much of it.

I used to kill chaos druids, if you just keep harralander and up, you can stay down there for a long time. Doing slayer helps too, because most slayer monsters drop good amounts of herbs.

I do Knigdom Mangament. It helps because you make more money and like Teebeaun said, you get a lot.

Thanks Harrinator1 for the sig!

There isnt really much of a tactic or tips to train herblore, just basically get herbs, and their 2nd and make em into pots.

But yea try chaos druids, (train your weak combat skills on them too)

Well there are three quick ways to obtaining herbs.

1. Slayer Tower Aberrant Specters - Required : 60 slayer.

2. Yanille Dungeon Chaos Druids (through shortcut) - Required : 82 thieving.

3. Edgeville Dungeon Chaos Druids - Required : It's in wilderness, so you know the risks.

If you don't mind spending a while then making recylm's balm is free if you collect your own rogues purse. At 57 then making magic essence potion is free to make if you get your own star flowers and gorak horns.
