Okay I know this is probably somewhere but I can't find it. If someone can tell me I'll go there. But if not.... Why is the avatar and sig sizes so limited?

I guess admin wanted this forum as just for discussion and such, not for showing off your avatars/sigs and stuff.

Not necessarily crashing tip.it, but some people don't have super fast internet like most of us and when it takes them 2 minutes to load pages because of ridiculous signatures and avatars, it becomes a bit annoying.

Because the point of a forum is not to have the largest display of an image possible, but to show off the quality of your posts ;)

 

 

 

This has been discussed and debated to the bone on the Forum Updates & Suggestions board and it has been made clear that the avatar and signature file size limits will not be changing anytime soon.
