If u used another color scheme (like the green light blue ones) I'd have said meeeeeeh soooooooring....just another thing like the usual...

 

 

 

But dunno why your red scheme gives the old style background something new and very interesting.

 

 

 

Only con is that the font doesn't look totaly matching the bg for some reasons i couldn't quantify...Maybe try something without the outer glow or something like that...

Its not that easy lol it not like bang, i did put work into making the bg and ajusting it with the colors.
