I thought I'd let you know about this riddle I found a couple of weeks ago. Basically, the riddle consists of many levels (~120 at the moment), which require you to decode or find a solution to pass on to the next level. The first levels are relatively easy in respect to later levels, to ensure that people get some sort of a touch to the game. As a whole, the game is extremely hard, consisting of levels which require one to google for solutions using vague hints, download programs to processes certain data, et cetera.

 

 

 

The game is certainly not something one would complete in a day. It requires time and a broad range of knowledge and the ability to apply certain skills at specific times.

The following are a list of general hints that should be taken into consideration when solving the riddles

-User Internet Explorer, other browsers do not always work (no music eg.).

 

 

 

-Always look for all hints you can find, and try to interpret them!

 

 

 

-A riddle consists of more than a picture!

 

 

 

-Try all to get to the next screen, no matter what. It's NOT a point and click thing!

 

 

 

-The url of the next riddle has nothing to do with the current one!

 

 

 

-To have Music playing in Firefox, install this extension.

 

 

 

-Everytime you need Google, there is a build in search bar on the riddle page. No need on any others.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

About passworded Stuff:

 

 

 

- no spaces

 

 

 

- no capital letters and no spaces

 

 

 

- You won't see the password written in an obvious way

There are no rules per se, but the use of walkthroughs is highly looked down upon, as it will ruin the fun for oneself.

I understand that there have been people with a low post count who have also posted links to sites that, for example, steal passwords or such. The links mentioned in the first post do not belong to such a category. It isn't the site that downloads the programs for you, it is YOU who will need to search for a program that can be used to decode a file. As far as I know, all of the programs needed to acquire information about the solution or the solution in itself can be downloaded from google - one needn't use money to acquire the programs needed.

note to everyone, on level 4 don't use the first translator that comes up. It's wrong.

Are you sure you translated everything? Something you mightv've missed? Can you make any sense of what you decoded? It shouldn't be too hard. Remember that mistakes in typing occur also, so you should retype passwords carefully. More hints can be found at quakenet #notpron by typing "!hint >level number<" - for example "!hint 4" or at the official Not Pron forums.

k, now its working forme but i don't get how to do it. i'm on lvl 2 right now and i have no idea what to do.

k, i passed lvl 2, but now i'm stuck on lvl 3. lol

Naw, I actually posted this link not too long ago. It's 100% safe, though you do need some extra programs sometimes in order to pass levels.

I'll admit, this riddle is freakin hard. The farthest I got was to level 7 (few months ago), and even to get there I had to ask for some big clues.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I suggest you all give it a try. Its mnd bogglingly (word?) difficult.

I got stuck on the first page cannot be displayed level :(

I'm currently stuck at level 44. Some riddles have been *really* bad, but most of them were really enjoyable. I truely hated level 43, was stuck on it for days and the answer was just infront of my eyes :lol:

the music is creepy.
