runescapeloser22
So, I'm getting a laptop for Hanukkah in a couple weeks, and I wanted to know what games I should get for it. I don't know what kind of laptop, but I know my dad will hook me up since he works for a computer company and gets a nice discount on everything electronic :P I don't generally like RPGs on like Oblivion or Mass Effect, and I was looking at buying Call of Duty 4. Any other suggestions? Second question, I know that its usually next to impossible to play games on the PC with a laptop "touch" thing, I don't know what it's called  . So if anybody could point me towards a nice, cheap mouse that I could use, please do! I don't know if it's necessary to have a headset for online play on PC games, but if it is could someone tell me a nice cheap one? Also, if anybody else thinks I should get something that I haven't asked about, then please tell me! Thanks
chessmastuh
Orange Box! That, CS:S, and whatever Command & Conquer game is out now should keep you entertained for quite a while. Bubsa
Just out of personal interest, do you know what laptop you're getting and, if so, could you link us to it? Would be handy to know the specs to see if it can run the best of games at the best quality This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you. I've played Counter Strike at my friend's house and didn't like it much, same with Command and Conquer :(
Lt_Necro_Lt
It is called "touchpad", and you really should get CS:Source, it is awesome. If you like FPS maybe try Quake4 or Quake3:Arena? I know Q3 is as old as WWII but still, it is a legend. Battlefield games are nice too. As for mouse... Don't buy cheap mouse for Online playing, especially (sp?) when playing FPS !!! It is better to pay like 40$ for a good mouse than playing with trash. I recommend Logitech G3 or G5 mouse, they are pretty good, though don't know how much are they in USA. blade995
Get COD4, it's a must have. Crysis is also very good, make sure your laptop can support it first, it has high system requirements.

I actually looked at Crysis, but then when I saw the system requirements, I went looking for other games :P I don't know much about system requirements, but I could tell a laptop wouldn't run that game very well :anxious: I'll check out the laptops specs when I get it, and post them here so you guys can help me find a game that's fun and runs smoothly :)

Adam007
This mouse looks like a pretty good deal: http://www.compusa.com/products/product ... performics Or you could get the standard $30 microsoft one that most stores sell, which works great. It's common knowledge that any game is bad with the touchpad  When I get my laptop I'll check the specs like I said earlier to make sure the game can run smoothly. GordanFreeman
Didn't you say you were getting a 360 for Hanakkah too? Orange Box for pc > OB for 360. By far. BioShock if the Laptop can run it, also CSS. I haven't played any current RTS's lately, so I don't know if a new C&C game is out, but those were always fun.
