Gold_Tiger10
Yes. Do so through customer support. or at least post it on RSOF to give others a heads up Bad idea. Against the rules and RSOF Code of Conduct to do that, you'll be banned from the forums for a few days. And there is already a sticky on the RSOF warning about fake emails from JaGex. here! icecube
But why run the risk of losing your account? You never know how clever these people are with keyloggers, or other programs.
Polnar
You cannot just send items throug han msn conversation without them being accepted by you as a person. Also, I would have to visit a site they direct me to for a keylogger to find me, this is rather unlikely, and no matter how convincing they are, I'm not going to give them my password. That's true but you don't know what these people are capable of. If people can bruteforce and get people's accounts, even with reasonably hard passwords, why can't they hack through MSN? Polnar
How would you know if this was a fake or not? Easy: How could Jagex have access to your MSN account? Gold_Tiger10
They have access to my e-mail genius. Plus, what do you mean they can hack through msn, they cannot. No, they don't. And you CAN be keylogged through MSN. here!
meol
Hey, there's no need to use such sarcastic remarks. Of course Jagex would have access to your MSN if they had access to you email account. But you should know that you don't have to type in any email address when creating an account, and it's not mandatory to type one when upgrading your acount to members either. So, logically, Jagex doesn't have access to it. Also, if Jagex never e-mails you, why would they communicate with you via MSN? This signature is intentionally left blank. Polnar
Perhaps I should clarify, I realise it isn't a genuine member of Jagex I was wondering what I should do about it, ignore it, contact Jagex.. etc etc etc.
