November 29, 200718 yr I was wondering if there is a way for a lvl 3 skiller to use better axes then iron. To wield my steel axe on my Skiller it says i need 5 attack, and i thought that was blasphamy(sp?). I it possible for lvl 3 combat persons to wield better than steel axes? Does it go the same for picaxes? I remember being able to wield a rune pic before i could use rune weapons on this account.
November 29, 200718 yr It's pretty fair really, if level 3's could run around with d axes they'd be getting levels insanely fast. Just keep the axe in your inventory instead, you don't have to weild it and a rune axe in your inv is much faster then using an iron axe that's wielded. November 29, 200718 yr Author well i guess i get it but they could always force kick or punch as with members items in f2p if thats the case. thanks for replying and sheding some light for me.
November 29, 200718 yr If you put a rune pickaxe or woodcutting axe in your inventory, and you have the required level to use it, it will still work. It does not need to be in your hand. well i guess i get it but they could always force kick or punch as with members items in f2p if thats the case. thanks for replying and sheding some light for me. I didn't really understand this, but it seemed you were concerned with getting melee xp by accident? I would suggest wielding a bow, without any arrows, and also turning your Auto-Retaliate to "off". : PoetryIndexed Picture 1Indexed Picture 2 Killed my maxed Zerker pure April 2010 Rebooting Runescape
November 29, 200718 yr I believe he meant that JaGEx should allow people to wield these items without the necessary attack but eliminate any attack bonuses and have them attack as though they were wielding no weapon, like when a P2P goes into F2P with a members weapon.
