mad4u689
For those of you celebrating Pesach (Passover)... enjoy the seder, keep kosher l'pesach if you can (no leavened bread, etc.), and see lots of family! :D Happy holidays! Everybody hug and spread the love :D
Peter
Happy Passover :). I alredy blew it with the bread thing, didn't even cross my mind. We're doing a seder tomorrow, looks like there's going to be some good food. That's what I love about being Jewish, EVERY single gathering involves food. Peter
Well I blew it because I just made a bunch of bread rolls for dinner tonight (not a seder). But I'll give it a try :).

Bubsa
Happy Passover my Jewish pals! :D Let it be known I envy the amount of food you get at holidays. :P This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
Rease
Happy passover all... Even if you're not Jewish, I'd recommend going to a seder. A lot of families still leave the door open (as is custom) to allow strangers to come in and partake in their celebrations ;) (I guess that would be kind of weird, but definitely go to one if you're invited.. it's a neat experience)

Maybe next year, when I'm in college :D I know my family would be open to having random people show up :D Everybody hug and spread the love :D

Matzah and butter, macaroons, passover cerial, and those half circle fruit gel candy things. :P

yonman14
I'm hungry :x i should get my brother to make me matzah brei :D Matzah brei is by far the best food EVER. Just had it last night, and I also just had matzah with butter and jam this morning. Yea, Jewish holidays are awesome. Peter, you can still try to not eat leaven, I know you can do it! Dark_Tigra
Is that pronounced Pee-Sack? That'd be hilarious to me..
dusqi
I believe more like, Pey-sack, and you have to do a little gurgle in the back of your throat on the 'ck' part. For it is the greyness of dusk that reigns. The time when the living and the dead exist as one.
Adam007
I believe more like, Pey-sack, and you have to do a little gurgle in the back of your throat on the 'ck' part. Exactly. Or pay-sakch. Just gotta make that ckh noise at the end. It's called Passover just as often in the US though, which is a lot easier to say.

BlueLancer
I'm not a member of any religion, but IMO jews are one of the coolest ones. As Merc said, they don't put anybody down or tell them "if you don't accept the salvation then you will GO TO HELL! hahahahaha". And they have a lot of holidays with good food. They have a realistic and calm approach to religion as a tool of teaching and learning, kind of like some old asian religions. My friend is a jew and I think it was this time of the year about 2 years ago, they had like a huge table full of food and he invited me. None of the commercial crap, just food and socialising. Then there was this huge plate of some meat (a huge, massive steak) and hot bread filled with butter and some salad-looking stuff, maybe you know what it's called but I forgot the name. Damn that was awesome. 8)
