Manhunt 2...Sweet Jesus.

Yeah...Damn. You guys hear about this game? It was given an AO rating in the U.S., and has been rejected by several countries (UK and Ireland too I think), even with the modified M version. It's about serial killing. You can views clips of the executions, kill people with heroin syringes, and it's on the Wii (or was supposed to be, don't really know what they're going to do about it now). You get to use the Wii remote to skillfully take people out. So much for Wii being a kids console. :uhh:

More information on Manhunt 2, with some good websites to visit for further information.

So, post your thoughts. :? :D

Erm, guys, just because the Wii has generally had more family-friendly games thus far doesn't mean it's not allowed to have M and above rated games. . . take this and No More Heroes, for example.

Anyway. . . I don't really see the appeal of Manhunt. Yay, let's run around stabbing people with heroin syringes and killing them in other gruesome and gory ways. At least Saw has a point to it. . .

waaaaiiiit. I was just at gamestop and it was

I don't know why anyone would really want to play this game. <.<

You can only play so much of a game with fat italian plumbers falling into pits and screaming 'whatsa this, mamma mia..!' before wanting to take your anger out on something...

What's the fuss about this game? Wii isn't officially a "kids" console, nor is any other console. Even Gameboy had some pretty harsh games.

As long as a game is entertaining, I don't see what's wrong with playing it. It's a game for a reason, it sets you in an unrealistic, possibly fantasy setting, or maybe a very brutal one, etc... There are many different game types, Manhunt just belongs to the more gruesome, darker ones. Some people find it fun though.

Ok...yes, I actually did know. I wanted to see what other people thought about the game...? Don't be an [wagon], dude.

Yeah, but it's still surprising.

The first manhunt had a point to it.

You had to kill to survive.

I agree with the violence part. By allowing people who play this on the Wii to actually act out (sans weapons) the visceral killing and brutalizing of others will just give ammo to people like Jack Thompson. But, at least teh Wii gives the real experience. :?

I'm not a fan of feeding trolls, but don't be an [wagon]. Honestly. I forgot about Resident Evil. I was making a generalization that the Wii has mainly kids games on it, and I wondered at what will happen to future opinions and future games on the Wii. And I can't read that third sentence becuase the grammar is too bad. Please fix it.
