Effectively a behead animation, but  instead of removing the top part, leaving the whole circle at the side, where it is shot once.

 

I do believe I ought to pay the fee of one e-hug, although it seems sort of odd, so I will instead use the equivalent payment in e-cookies. *Gives Mage/Sword 10 e-cookies*

I've been thinking about this power plant. It seems a bad idea. Im scared that the ground will be infected (It's a powerplant, not nuculear, I know) by ... Stuff. Plus We don't know how many people will go to it, and how well heard of it will be. Last thing we need is raiders. I havn't had a chance to look at it, much, though.

I mean, zombies reject dead flesh, so it wont attract them or anything.

That, along with people that look organised, and are wearing gas masks and carrying good amounts of weaponry should be enough to scare off all but the most hardened of raiders.

I still say that Lewis County, West Virginia is one of the best places to be. Reasons are as follows:

 

 

 

1) mid-low population, which means very few local zombies but still a good number of people still alive

 

 

 

2) in the middle of Deer Capitol of the United States of America (a flying s#$^ton of various artillery, almost every local has at least moderate skill with firearms, and quickly replenishing food supply)

 

 

 

3) difficult to get to without decent vehicles acclimatized to mountain terrain (there's a few back roads, but only two entrances via highway that can be easily stumbled upon)

 

 

 

4) multiple suitable base locations (old mental hospital is in decent condition and has some reinforced rooms, various caves, random buildings, etc)

 

 

 

5) at most a 3-4 day drive from any spot on the east coast (makes it easier for people in Europe, and gives us a very large list of places we can salvage stuff from)

 

 

 

The only conceivable problems are the small groups of KKK and Neo-Nazis in the area. Thankfully, most of the real nuts are past the mountains to our southeast, or similarly away from our area. Which of you thinks this is a good idea?

Wouldn't a high-voltage stun baton go well with those zombie shields that were earlier posted? I know that zombies can feel pain, but im fairly certain that the electricity causes the muscles to spasm, making the zombie colapse. Might be kinda usefull for close-quarters situations.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure a 3 second zap with a taser can cause an adult male to lose consciousness, so it stands to reason that a 4-5 second zap would knock down a zombie.

 

The brain is controlled by electrical impulses (well most of the body is). So a direct shock to the head/skull/brain might temporarily disable them. I doubt it will last too long, maybe only a few minutes but long enough to smash the brain without fear of biting and will help conserve ammo. Keep in mind this is a theory and could be wrong.

Yeah, it could be useful, and may help us use those woodchips a bit faster, generating electricity to shock zombies.
