hi, i'm a lv 75 and about 2 kill the tanglefoot in zanaris. What i need 2 know is if 33 farming is high enough 2 kill it, and also is it only melee you can attack it with, cos i would prefer 2 attack it with mage.

 

 

 

i only have 37 prayer so unfortionatly i can't use protect from melee.

You have to melee it with the magic secateur... don't think your farming level matters when killing him.

i killed him with 78 cb and 2 farming... :P

I believe farming just made it easier to kill him (higher damage) but you should be fine at 33 farming.

I did it at 65 combat and only in the 20's ...I think 24 farming...you should have no problem at all :D

Praying Protect-From-Melee helps too.

Yes, but higher farming level does in fact increase damage done by the magic sceature (sp)

I believe it doesn't, despite what Tip.It's guide says. I tried to kill it with 60 Farming, and only 40 str, and never hit higher then a four.

 

 

 

 

 

But yea, you can kill it, I only had 42 Defence (I think) and my pray dropped, and he didn't even damage me.
