Stop waining that you can't steal drops and get a life

I've been dk with him a long time ago... oddly he didn't get anything, or did he?

While lootshare is indeed spreading drops over time, you also have to see the very important flaw in this.

Yes. Lootshare does indeed distribute drops evenly, however where the issue comes in is the fact that once everyone logs off, and the lootshare is turned off, the even distribution is reset.

Example:

Say your team (A, B, C, and D) goes to Bandos. Player A recieves a hilt and player B recieves a shard. They all go to bed. Next day they head up again...

NOW, your logic would be saying that since A and B got the hilts and shards the day before, C and D would get them the next day, but the flaw is, when you loggout, the distribution is reset. So on day 2, player A and B could again get all the drops (or A and C, B and A, ecct..).

Simply the point is, These drops are to far and few between to have an effective use with Lootshare. Lootshare's current design is more geared towards getting alot of drops in a short ammount of time and splitting them evenly. With Places like GWD, or KQ, you dont get that many drops in a period of loggin time. KQing with a partner, you may only get maybe 10 drops a night. The odds of getting 2 chain drops in that 10 kills is highly unlikly.

So, player 1 and player 2 KQ for 5 days. (Assuming you would get 1 chain every night which is higly unlikly) Player 1 could get 4/5 of all the chain drops over the corse of 5 days. Thats the flaw with lootshare. Its not a bad system at all, just needs to have some minor tweaks.

Yes, Lootshare is pretty fair. Stop complaning :)

It doesn't work!

all right. let's say a 3 man team goes to godwars, and kill armadyl. do you know how many times they'll have to kill him to get 3 hilts, let alone the chances of each of them getting a hilt? The chances of getting a hilt are already slim, but the odds of 3 people each getting a hilt are probably almost impossible.

One possibility would be to add "send to ge" option to it and send items over set value automaticly to GE and then split the cash equally to everyone who had been taking part in killing progress.

I think they should do that.. it would make it a lot more fair

So... you FOUND a method or are repeating basic knowledge about Lootshare?

Honestly, lootshare isn't that perfect. To get valuebles like d chains and hilts, you may have to kill hundreds of monsters. Those drops in that time are splite evenly, but then the time comes when the hilt is dropped. who gets it if everyone has an even share?

The problem is, many people want to split the MONEY from the drop, not the drop itself. With the trade thing implemented, it was impossible to give each member of a group several million gp unless you were willing to trade 3k at a time. try trading 10m with that. Jagex stated they would be releasing a method to help split the cash.

tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :(
But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.
That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.

Apparently a lot of people say it. I own.
