I found a new MMORPG to play. However i was wondering if anyone know anything about it or tell me if it is a good game to play. Apparently it is completely free, the enitre game totally for free.

Anyway post your thoughts on it and if it is worth starting to play.

If you had not realised the game is called planeshift

I've heard that it's a broken, buggy game that's run by a handful of developers who are only working part-time.

MMOFPS? Interesting...

Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

It was run (and still is, considering it is under their package deal) Sony Entertainment.

I'm not sure why but the game just never caught on very much to people. I think most of them who play it now probably just play it because it is part of the "Station Access Pass" sony offers, which lets people be subbed to all of their MMOs at once.

You're thinking of Planetside ;)

Whoops I'm an idiot. Excuse my posts.

I tried it out. The tutorial alone was excruciatingly painful. Don't waste your time.

I've played it, it's still only an alpha demo (version 0.3.020 still) , and being open source the next update is only going to be released soon. Though for a free game it's got great graphics (provided there's no bugs), and when it's done I'll reckon it'll be a good game. I'd wait for the full version to come out (although that could take a while), as the devs have stated there is going to be a total wipe when it is released, and unless you don't mind the server crashing every 1/2 hour it can get a bit annoying.

The game was in alpha like 5 years ago too. :wall:
