Personally, I think you are wise in raising your stats on F2P before getting members. I got myself to 70cb and over 1k total in F2P before I even considered members. A keylogging is what made me get it.. sadly. Add me in-game if you need any help with members. I would suggest being a member for 2 months straight before deciding whether or not to return to F2P or stay a member (1 month isn't nearly enough time to decide). I myself never quit members after that faithful day that I got it. :roll:

I couldn't make more than 500k on non-members. I told myself, Members has to be better and there has to be better people on there. Then a month later I made over 500k in one month at lvl 50. I told myself, I am never going back. Add me in game if you have any questions I would love to help any new members in need. Most of the F2P players have no clue how much they are missing out on...

The positive side of RuneScape 2.5, is that when new people join they'll only know RS2.5, not RS2. They can't compare the experience so they won't quit due to the updates.

 

 

 

The reason why people are complaining is because they're so used to RS2, and do not want to change. New players never changed, RS2.5 is just a new game!

My skills have been steadily improving over the past week, so I might be at my goal of level 50 in all F2P by the first of January.

 

 

 

The main thing right now is deciding whether to buy or mine all the rune essence necessary for the level 50 RC, because I'm still about 9000 short (I used a calculator that said I needed close to 10k of them to runecraft air and minds...which are the quickest and easiest and most useful runes to make).

 

 

 

Once I reach my goal, I might throw a Tip.It party at the party room for getting the membership!

I don't think there is a skill requirement for joining members. I remember when I first joined members, over 5 years ago now, I was level 27 combat and I believe my highest skills were fishing and cooking which were in the low 50s and I never struggled to do anything.

 

 

 

Although back then there was no where near as much to do as there is today the quieter servers and larger area made it much much easier to raise my skills, one of the main reasons I became a member.

 

 

 

I don't know anyone who hasn't enjoyed members and only know of a couple of people who became a member and had to stop and still manage to put with f2p after that time.

started rs as a member...lev 3...only $5 a month...who wants limitations? Only way to play IMHO :)

I've been F2P forever, and I've played on my current account since RS2 came out. (In RSC, I had a crappy computer, so I never got around much to playing, just lagging.)

 

 

 

Now, after the updates - which I disliked - I suddenly feel a strange urge to subscribe. Weird, huh? I might get members...

Seeing as u are a fairly good f2p skiller you are going to greatly enjoy watching your total lvl SKYROCKET!

I would have thought that with the updates and more F2p bank space less F2pers would become P2p..
