Have a sticky rate-outfit on Rate-This

Featured Replies

I saw at least 4 rate my outfit thread on rate this at the moment. Isn't it best just to have a sticky so people can look at it and just rate it on that?

Then why not have a sticky for anything you could rate, that is posted randomly by 4-10 people coincidently each three months?

Thats not the point, the thing is picture is just one picture that take up a part of the forum. I mean, one or two is okay. But when people mass spam the amount of the same type of thing, it is annoying. I mean, rare drop deserves it. Wearing a few thing and slapping it together isnt.

Upon browsing the Rate this! forum, there is 4 threads which have a title that includes the word "outfit". However, 2-3 of those were purely for Christmas outfits and normally the forum is not like this. There is no need for the sticky anyway, threads can go quite a long time on Rate this! without being posted on and still stay on page 1. It would be like having a "problems sticky" in Off-Topic and the forum would be much emptier if there was one.

:) Good idea though, if it were that way O:)

I dont need a siggy no moar.

Mass spam does not mean four threads out of thirty. This sort of falls into the category of users suggesting "concentrated" topics/forums for storage of threads they are not interested in. I'm not meaning this in a negative way but it is important to understand that every specific type of thread does not need its own spot. In fact, Tip.it forum's history proves that most topics do better when standing alone rather than being piled in a sticky.

Especially in this case, I would rather the outfit threads stay on their own.

My thoughts exactly. If we were to continue with this trend of creating stickies for everything, there would just be nothing left in the actual forum... other than stickies. As The_Sith said (and a few others), there are currently four outfit threads in Rate This, which isn't even a third of the total amount of threads on the first page.
