The notepad.

Here's my idea.

This is the interface on the screen:

iconsw4.png

And after you click on it:

insidelookzs5.png

You can highlight text to delete in chunks, the arrow is turn over a new leaf, like a book you can go back and forth.

Why we should have a note pad:

We could use it to write down valuable information like goals, to do lists, fairy ring codes. Also can be used for quests.

If there's any chance for this to be implemented, you at least need a limit of how much can be put in -- per user, probably a limit of 1-2kb would be all that Jagex could handle. That's still 10-20 gigabytes of data to add to the database server.

1-2 kb of space, maybe 4-5 pages of text. per player.

Note: I realise this would take up alot of space, so do not mention that.

I can't see unlimited space, because knowing some users on RuneScape, there would be gigabytes of "asd;sj;ghalkdfj;ald" put in there. :shame:

It's not a bad idea, it just needs a lot of limitations on the programming end in order to not affect game speed.

That sounds like a cool idea..it would come in very handy, as you said for fairy ring codes and that kinda stuff.

To combat the possibility of lag etc, they could code it so it uses a file on OUR computers in the jagex' cache (We'd just have to be careful when cleaning out our cache thats all...lol)

Just write it in your ignore list, thats what I do.

It's a good idea, but your average 'scaper would type 5 pages of @@@@@ o all 50 of their useless accounts. Major waste of space imo. If there is a way to make this work without massive lag, it'd be great. I guess this is a support.

i support you're idea too.

its pirtty good idea, i need to write all my note's on normal computer notepad, and sometimes i couldn't find an important note i make XD

but about that space, it isend much! just think about the other things: the items all players have in their bank, and inventory,m their levels EVERYTHING this is way more than some notes..

u dont have to store 1-2kb in jagex's server, u can store as much as you want on your own computer (if u use signed they store a LOT on your computer)

My goals:
5M coins: 4350K+ coins 200k+ items - 2 dec
5M coins - 16 dec

"Colours suck."

*I remove colours*

"Where did all the colors go!? This is now 40% more likely to be tl;dr'd due to the lack of colors."

Always wanted a notepad, though I think we'd be limited to 2 pages (+/- depending on membership status). Pictures are a bit iffy, but I still support.
