Bone C'bow or Rune C'bow?

Featured Replies

rune c'bow (bronze bolts) vs. bone c'bow (bone bolts). and which do you think would be better for pvp? i'm looking for a cheap way to range at castlewars etc. and am looking for the strongest method. bronze bolts are 3gp ea and bone bolts are 4gp ea.

which gives higher damage? i'm not sure by how much different bolts affect damage and how range bonus affects damage so... yeah. help please?

also... does range bonus also affect accuracy? or just damage?

thanks! :D

I believe The damage comes from the bolts/arrows and c'bow/bow used.

And range bonus affect accuracy.

ok, so... does the range bonus from rune c'bow outweigh the difference between bronze and bone bolts + the range bonus from bone cbow...

basically is rune c'bow > bone c'bow + bone bolts.

Well bone bow is crap, and so are bronze bolts, so whichever you choose is gonna be crap xp. Bone is probably slightly better.

looking for pvp not training. of course bone is going to be better for training. monsters have less defence than players, and bone c'bow is faster.

so yeah which is better pvp...

Rune c'bow+bronze bolts=death in pvp.

You have to use enchanted bolts, other wise you don't stand a chance.

ok... i'm not going to be here all night explaining this.

which is BETTER for pvp, bone c'bow and bone bolts or rune c'bow and bronze bolts.

pvp in cwars is a joke anyways, who cares if i get killed? i just spawn and try again... -.-

You should have said cws, rune c'bow+bronze bolts, or whichever is cheaper.

If you meant actual pvp, like pking, you'd get owned, but since it's cws, just sue whichever botls are cheaper.

You should have said cws, and not pvp.

i kind of did say castlewars... if you read my posts... -.-

and honestly 1 gp difference isnt that big of a deal. i'd rather have the one that does better damage, in which i mean hits often and decently better than the other. but thanks.

Well, if it's only 1 gp, use rune c'bow, it has a better range attack bonus.

And, i did read your posts, you said pvp, nothing about cws till the one before.

check the first post... castlewars, etc...

but ok it doesn't matter... i'm testing out both of them.

Tad off topic, but if you look at Jagex's official weapon speed page you'll the speed "bars" are exactly the same, due to the nerf. I recommend using a rune xbow, because practically everyone uses melee and use armour that's effective versus range. I think you can you can get bone bolts 2gp ea in the GE pretty easily, which is good if you want to buy them in bulk (but I'm doubtful anyone'd be buying huge amounts with the nerf)

ok, i guess it would make sense to use a weapon with higher accuracy wouldn;t it... stupid me.

thanks both of you.

Both are a stupid idea for pvp, but id go with bone...if you get lucky you might get a quicker kill, wheras bronze would be a more consistant kill.

I'd use the dorgeshuun c'bow :D

It's better by far, I mean people say a lot that power is not everything, get accuracy up. Well accuracy is not everything either, soo... Use bone bolts. Accurate enough and hits better, a chance to actually kill someone except those level 14 and such.

And lol at the people saying "you should've said cw"...
